SKYLAR JOHNSON Killinesses
Skylar Johnson is a rapper, producer, and deejay. Coming from a "big town" in Iowa you learn to do-it-yourself. Not knowing where to begin SJ just started writing. As time went on he started making a studio. After a few years of making hip hop songs in his dwellings he ventured out and started doing shows. He needed a deejay. With no one around to offer their talents he decided to just cut and scratch himself.
10 years later you have Killinesses. An album that should have taken 3 people only took Skylar. You might say he needed the help...you might say he didn't. Judge for yourself. Skylar brings you more of a laid back style of hip hop that only from the vantage poing of his life could an album like this have been made. Its his vision and no one elses.
Caught in the middle location-wise and musically Skylar Johnson makes hip hop music for himself...hopefully you'll like it too.
